Speakers
Meet the Speaker-Danikka Taylor
Danikka will be one of our speakers at the May 10th Virtual Writing Retreat! I am beyond excited to have her as one of our guests. She has a passion for helping authors achieve their dreams and so much knowledge to share.
Danikka is an editor and publishing mentor from Melbourne, Australia. After working with indie authors for five years, she saw a need to provide more community and support in the self-publishing space. So, in 2023 she founded Authors Own Publishing, where she and the team aim to provide everything authors need to publish independently in one place.
When she’s not devoting her time to her latest editing project or dreaming up ways AOP can help even more authors, she dabbles in her own creative writing and occasionally imagines she might one day hit publish on her own novel.
You can learn more about Authors Own Publishing by visiting them @authors.own.publishing on Instagram.
MEET THE SPEAKER-Rebecca Paciorek
Rebecca published magazines for almost 20 years and did the majority of the writing and editing. Since the onset of social media, she has narrowed her niche to creating content for digital marketing projects. From social media strategy and email to book tours and paid ads, she’s well-versed in pulling it all together for your brand. In addition, Rebecca runs a done-with-you author marketing membership program for authors.
Rebecca will lead a micro-course, and you'll uncover the secrets to crafting a dynamic promotional plan that multiplies your results. We'll dive into the concept of Promo Stacking – a game-changing strategy that involves layering promotional activities to create a synergistic effect, maximizing visibility, and driving explosive growth.
